The Bloat Friendly Dress That's Jane Birkin Approved

and perfect for spring

The British-French singer and actress may have been known as the inspiration for the Birkin bag, but it's the "darling" dress worn by Jane Birkin that lives rent free in my head.  Her style was effortless and top tier in the 1960s and 1970s, and our girl loved a mini dress, specifically the babydoll - flattering for us gals who bloat.

The babydoll dress is loose in fit and typically ends above the knee.  Remember the Selkie dresses everyone was wearing with combat boots a few years ago?  Here's how I styled mine.  I loved that dress for many reasons, but mainly due to how forgiving and "bloat friendly" it was. 

Living with endometriosis, we know all too well those distended days sneak up on us at the worst possible times so a babydoll dress is a great hero piece for your wardrobe.
